VIVE Tracker (Ultimate) [VIVE Ultimate Tracker] can track up to five trackers (up to eight points no matter how hard you try). It costs ¥31,000 (incl. tax), weighs 94 g and takes an average of 2.2 hours to charge with Quick Charge 3.0. This time, a PC is no longer required and no base station is needed; simply plug the VIVE wireless dongle into the headset. Connectivity is via dedicated 2.4 GHz/5 GHz Wi-Fi; a VIVE wireless dongle is required when connected; support for VIVE XR Elite, VIVE Focus 3 and other standalone and PC VR headsets is currently being planned, with a beta version due to launch in a few weeks. Accuracy is announced to be worse than Base Station + Vive Tracker, and a beta feature that will enable PCVR via SteamVR (i.e. other HMDs can be used) will be released within a few weeks. This beta will be used to support other HMDs in the future. They plan to post it on the official discord, and the special price reduction for those who have purchased the HMD will last until 31 December 2023.
