Hola. Soy Hiro del Laboratorio de Full Body Tracking.

Today I want to talk about organizing your thoughts.

Many people think some individuals are naturally good at organizing their thinking while others aren’t. I disagree. Organizing your thoughts is a habit, not a talent.

The Illusion of the “Organized Mind”

People who seem to have clear, well-organized thoughts aren’t gifted with special brains. They’ve developed systems and habits for processing information. They externalize their thinking, review it, and iterate.

Why Most People Feel Disorganized

The default state of the human mind is chaotic. Thoughts bounce around, mix together, and fade before you can capture them. This isn’t a flaw — it’s how brains work.

The problem is when people compare their internal chaos to someone else’s polished output and conclude they’re “bad at thinking.” What they’re seeing is the difference in output systems, not thinking ability.

Building the Habit

Organizing your thoughts starts with one simple practice: externalize before you organize.

Get thoughts out of your head first — through speaking, writing, or any form of output. Don’t try to organize while still inside your head. That’s like trying to sort a deck of cards without putting them on the table.

Once thoughts are externalized (written, recorded, typed), organization becomes manageable. You can see patterns, identify connections, and structure logically.

AI as an Organization Partner

This is where AI becomes incredibly powerful. Not as a replacement for your thinking, but as an organization partner.

You speak your raw, unstructured thoughts. AI captures and structures them. You review the structure and refine. This loop — speak, structure, review — builds the habit of organized thinking over time.

The key insight: you don’t need to be naturally organized. You need a system that turns your natural chaos into structured output. AI provides that system.

My Daily Practice

Every day, I speak my thoughts to AI. They come out messy, nonlinear, full of tangents. AI captures everything and organizes it. I review the organized version and catch things I missed.

Over time, this daily practice has made my raw thinking more organized too. The habit of externalization feeds back into better internal processing.

Organizing your thoughts is a habit. Like any habit, it gets easier with practice. Start today — just talk about what’s on your mind, and let AI help you see what you’re actually thinking.
