VRC Full Tracking Lab on note — Now Available
Hello. How’s everyone doing?
I’m Hiro from Full Body Tracking Lab.
I have an announcement today. The full-body tracking and VRChat articles I’ve been writing on note have grown to quite a collection. I’ve heard both “I was looking for this article!” and “there are too many — where do I start?”
Fair point. So I’ve organized them into a magazine called “VRC Full Tracking Lab on note.”
Why I Created This Magazine
I started writing about full tracking on note simply because I want full-body tracking to spread more widely.
Full tracking users are still a minority in VRChat. Equipment is expensive, setup is complex, and many people don’t even know if they need it.
So I bought various devices with my own money, tested them myself, and wrote honestly. If a manufacturer ever told me to be biased, my writing wouldn’t change. That’s how committed I am to honesty.
This magazine’s goal is clear: I want more full tracking users. But not just numbers — I don’t want people buying unsuitable devices and abandoning them.
What’s in the Magazine
Device Selection Philosophy
The three-part series on choosing devices by user type: immersion seekers, streamers, VR theater performers, dancers, DJs, musicians, and more.
Devices to Avoid
Why you shouldn’t buy full tracking devices through crowdfunding. Why you shouldn’t take 3D mocap equipment away from individuals.
VRChat Culture and Lifestyle
Articles about VRChat itself — what matters most, the one thing you can’t control, mental health, and more.
Licenses and Creator Culture
VN3 License explanations, commercial use confusion, respecting users alongside creator culture.
AI and Claude Code
How I use AI automation, the three types of engineering, Second Brain strategy, and building an AI secretary.
Where to Start
If you’re new, start with the device selection philosophy articles. Then pick articles matching your user type. Finally, read the crowdfunding warning to protect your wallet.
Final Thoughts
This magazine will keep growing. New devices get reviewed, new use cases get documented. My goal is to transform full tracking from “something only enthusiasts use” to “a natural option for VRChat players.”
Even if reading this magazine makes you realize “I don’t need full tracking” — that’s valuable too. “Not buying” is a legitimate choice.
Either way, I want you to choose with confidence. That’s what my articles are for.
